Trees for Small Gardens

Are you short on space in your garden but would like a tree or two?  Here is a list of trees suitable for a small garden or space. Smaller tress tend to be ornamental with interestingly shaped leaves or branches, coloured/textured bark and often have a beautiful blossom.

The suitability of these trees will vary. For example, some may be tall but narrow, others may be short but wide or low growing or they may be able to take regular pruning or trimming to keep them small.
